Please shut up, you’re aggravating my Tourette’s

Like anybody else in the world, I can be an asshole.  I really have no problem with that…everybody has their asshole moments.  Personally, though, I find a person being a raging douche to be most enjoyable when they’re behaving that way for a joke.

Whenever somebody is speaking to me and the either annoy me or are just saying something so freaking stupid it’s driving me batty, my tics do increase.  Annoyance is a source of stress, so it would stand to reason that my body would respond to that stress.

But some days….some days it is all I can do to hold back my inner douchebag and not tell somebody “Please shut up, you’re aggravating my Tourette’s.”

Though the sentiment is partially serious, as a whole I’d like to say it to just one person to see how they’d react.  I’m sure some would be apologetic (which is just a bit laughable to me), some would be insulted (the reaction I’d expect), and some would be speechless.

All in all, it’s an amusing thought, though I’ll probably never actually get to say it.
